A Joshua Tree does things slowly. It can hide distress for a long time, until maybe an arm falls off. But Joshua Tree happiness is palpable, a spiky green lushness. A Joshua Tree is particular and won't grow just anywhere. It's bold under the right conditions, which only it can recognize.
